Jellyfin for music, now

Finally, I installed Jellyfin in my homelab cluster.

Back when I was in Japan and in my 20s, I loved to go to Tower Records. I used to buy CDs. Those days are long gone, and now I use Spotify and YouTube with ads.

While I'm not serious enough to collect vinyl, I've bought a few XG and 椎名林檎 CDs and some digital music files from stores like OTOTOY and Bandcamp. They are scattered all over the place.

Jellyfin gives them a home, like iTunes. I'm going to salvage my iTunes library from somewhere. I might rip some CDs since the files in the library are definitely not FLAC.

The official Jellyfin client for iOS doesn't play music in the background, and I'm trying out multiple third-party clients that support music better.
